This is a gorgeous High-Altitude Himalayan Quartz point - a higher quality specimen with a very intact point - no repairs or polishing. It has stunning clarity and self-healing, etching and horizontal striations. This is the real deal High-Altitude Himalayan Quartz from the K2 mountains in Kashmir. We are lucky to source this material only once or twice a year from the miner directly. To be considered high altitude, the crystal is found at a minimum of 6000ft and often in excess of 10,000 ft in the K2 mountain range, one of the most extreme environments in the world. These rare and beautiful crystals are truly unique and each one has to be hand-mined. Because the growing environment was so turbulent and intense, it is unusual to find intact crystals.
